AMCOSA Secretary’s Message

Dear Friends,

It’s indeed a great honour to be the Secretary of our beloved Andhra Medical College Old students Association (AMCOSA). When I was elected to this coveted post unanimously in 2024, I took up the responsibility with all humility with the singular agenda of serving our 100 years old Alma Mater with total commitment.

The dynamic executive led by our President Dr SKE Apparao and legendary advisors have given a task of making the Association more vibrant by connecting the alumni from various parts of the country and abroad. Creating a robust website was felt as the first step to improve camaraderie.

With extensive search for web designer and host we could identify Mr G. Ashok kumar who did a splendid job with passion keeping the reputation of our alma mater in mind. I am glad to report that the good traditions of our association envisioned by the founders and those upheld with dignity by the able leadership of Dr.R.Sasiprabha for more than a decade are being continued. The misconception of AMCOSA being considered as a marriage hall has been dispelled with the increasing number of scientific meetings, Literary and Cultural events.

The beauty of the website is its dynamic nature facilitating constant additions with latest developments on a daily basis. The website will be updated with the members list as soon as the Membership Drive committee provides complete list. I feel that our Legacy section is the highlight and thank everyone who contributed information and photographs.

I request all the members to subscribe to our channels to get latest information of the activities and also to provide valuable insights to make the website better.
